The Appalachian Athletic Conference honored three Brenau cross country runners for their outstanding achievements, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

The Brenau cross country team wrapped up the 2017 season with an eighth place finish at the 2017 Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship hosted by Reinhardt University in Waleska, Ga. on Saturday.

The Brenau cross country team competed at the Berry Invitational meet on Saturday in Mt. Berry, Georgia. 

Freshman Bianca Braz earned a top-20 finish to pace the Brenau cross country team at the Koala Classic, hosted by Columbia College on Saturday in Columbia, SC.

The Brenau cross country team raced at the Bulldog Stampede 6K, hosted by Wingate University in Wingate, NC on Saturday. 

The Brenau cross-country team had a strong showing at the UNG Invitational, hosted by the University of North Georgia on Saturday in Oakwood.

At the Furman XC Classic, the Brenau cross country team placed 13th in a highly competitive field on Saturday in Greenville, SC.

The Brenau cross country team opened the 2017 season with a good showing at the Western Carolina Cross County Festival in Cullowee, NC on Saturday.

Three members of the SSAC Champion Brenau track and field team will compete at the 2017 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships from May 25-27 at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Alabama. 

Members of the Brenau track and field team were honored by the Southern States Athletic Conference for their performances on the track and in the classroom, the conference announced on Wednesday.
